Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek is a Mexican-American actor who was born to Lebanese-Spanish parents. Salma Hayek was born in Mexico into a rich Roman Catholic family. Her passion for acting was ignited by the age of a girl to be an actress by the classic film "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory'. The film she first made with her was the Mexican 'El Coronel No Tiene Quien Le Escriba. The film later became Mexico's official submission to the Oscars in the category of 'Best Foreign Film. Her executive production of "Ugly Betty" was a further accomplishment. The show was awarded Outstanding Guest Actress (Comedy Show) during the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards.
