Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, is also a songwriter. Her most recognizable character is Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's directed, produced and appeared in her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham, Alabama on 8 January 1977. She has a younger sister Danielle and has a career as an artist.
