Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She's written 15 books. She is also the co-founder of The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington is a writer, television personality, philanthropist and also the proprietor and publisher of The Huffington Post. Originally from Greece she moved to England when she was sixteen and then completed her studies at Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The infamous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it at the age of 21. Following graduation, she left her mark as columnist in the conservative syndicated media and, with the launching of The Huffington Post' few years later, she developed an online voice platform that gave critical opinions about the current political climate. In part, her fame led to the recruitment of a variety of renowned contributors. Arianna became famous in 2003 when she ran as an independent candidate in the California recall elections to replace Governor Davis. The project she headed was an Detroit fuel-efficient car project. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as The most influential female media personality, taking the 12th place on the list and in the same year the Guardian listed her on the top 100 of media lists. In 2011 AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post and made the president of that media unit, which comprised of many existing AOL products, such as Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli is the child of Konstantinos who was a Journalism and management expert. Even though she was close to her father, her connection to her mom shaped the course of her entire life. Even in her formative age, she displayed the qualities of a leader that she is still known for. When she was 16 years old, she moved over in the United Kingdom for her higher education. At Girton College Cambridge. She joined the Cambridge Union college debate society throughout her college years and was the third and first female to hold the position of the president. In 1972, her master's in Economics was awarded. The career of a journalist and television host started after her graduation. She was on the show with Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began writing her own books with his help.
