Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer known as being a part of the band One Direction. The son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles, a former pupil of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools, created a band named White Eskimo with three fellow students. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. Although he has always been interested in music, despite his passion for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. To support his family, he worked a short time working part-time at a bakery. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. His group was compelled to break up due to this. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year the year 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the potential winners to win the award. Despite this, they finished third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not take home the prize. But Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
