Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and one-half Spanish. The parents of her are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four of them are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and that she was unable to take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands to Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. At the age of 16 she left college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
